Quick Service Dining at Universal Studios

When visiting the three parks at Universal Studios Orlando, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay, you will want to try some of the incredible restaurants there.  If you want to make it super convenient for you, then I would highly recommend adding Universal’s quick service dining plan to your vacation.  On our last visit to Universal Studios in October 2019, we used this dining plan and loved it! So what does the quick service dining plan include?  For each child (age 3-9) and adult (age 10 and up) the quick service dining plan gives you: One quick service [...]

Beaches Negril

There are two Beaches resorts; one in Jamaica and one in the Turks & Caicos.  I visited the Turks & Caicos location with my family a few years ago, and last month I was fortunate enough to be invited to explore Beaches Negril.  My husband and I enjoyed this beautiful resort so much, and so will you! Beaches Negril is located on the widest stretch of Negril’s Seven Mile beach.  This beach has amazing white sands, and I’ll bet that you will want to spend most of your time there.  And with the many water sports that are included [...]

Sandals South Coast in Jamaica

If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful resort in Jamaica, you should definitely consider Sandals South Coast.  This is one of my favorite resorts in Jamaica! This resort is on the southern coast of Jamaica, on a beautiful white sand beach.  This resort is set up into three authentic architecturally designed beach-front villages, the Italian Village, the Dutch Village and the French Village.  Each of the 372 rooms and suites is beach front in this resort!  Sandals South Coast also offers the one of a kind over-the-water butler bungalows.  No need to travel all the way to the South [...]

Coming to Disney Parks-Part 1!

On my visit to the D23 conference in August of this year, I was fortunate enough to be able to go to one of the panels I was looking forward to the most—the Disney parks panel!  As I told you in the last newsletter, this was the presentation on all of the new things coming to all of the Disney parks around the world!  I wanted to go into more detail about this panel, and let you know all of the new amazing things that will make you want to visit your favorite Disney parks again, or maybe all of [...]

News from the D23 Expo

If you’re not familiar with the D23 Expo, then you’re in the right place!  First of all, D23 is the ultimate Disney fan club.  The name D23 refers to D for Disney and the year 1923, when Walt Disney arrived in California and founded the company.  They hold the D23 Expo every two years in Anaheim, California.  The expo is held in the Anaheim Convention Center, within walking distance of Disneyland. The 2019 event was from August 23-25.  You can purchase tickets for one day, or all three days.  I was fortunate to be able to attend all three days.  [...]

Cruising Through the Holidays

When you think about the holidays, particularly Thanksgiving and Christmas, what do you think of?  Is it the presents or the decorations, or just spending time with loved ones?  If you first think of spending time with your family during the holidays, consider a holiday cruise this year instead of the usual gifts! Now this does depend a little bit on the ages of your kids.  It may be a little tougher to travel with babies, and younger kids may be worried that Santa won’t be able to find them on a cruise ship.  Or they may be sad if [...]

Beat the Heat with the Water Parks at Walt Disney World

We all know that Florida can get HOT in the summer months, and there’s no better way to cool off than at one of Disney’s water parks.  Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are water parks that are not to be missed!  There is so much to see and do at these water parks that I recommend planning a free day to visit (or two to visit each one!). At Blizzard Beach there are three main areas with attractions to enjoy.  They have the green, purple and red slopes.  Each area has their own unique attractions for the family.  I love [...]
