There are so many things happening in the cruise world that you may not be aware of. If you’ve ever considered a cruise for your family vacation, there’s never been a better time!
So many of your favorite cruise lines have new cruise ships for you to enjoy! These ships offer the ultimate in family fun and luxury for your next vacation.
Norwegian Cruise Line:
- The Joy joined its sister ship the Bliss in Alaska in 2019. Later in 2019, Norwegian introduced another ship in the same class, the Encore. The Encore boasts the largest racetrack at sea.
Carnival Cruise Line:
- Carnival came out with another ship in its Vista class in December 2019, the Panorama. Carnival will introduce the Mardi Gras in November 2020, which will have the first roller coaster at sea! I can’t wait to see that one!
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line:
- Royal Caribbean introduced the Spectrum of the Seas in 2019. This is a ship built specifically for their Chinese guests, and sails on a 51-night world cruise from Barcelona to Shanghai. In 2020, Royal Caribbean will add the Odyssey of the Seas, the newest Quantum class ship, to its fleet. This ship will include onboard bumper cars and a skydiving simulator.
- Royal Caribbean also completely revamped their private island Coco Cay in May of 2019. When you sail on select Royal Caribbean cruises, you will enjoy their Perfect Day at Coco Cay. This stop includes something for everyone, with an amazing water park that boasts the tallest water slide in North America, zip-lines, a helium balloon ride and more! In 2020 the next phase of Coco Cay will open, which will include the Coco Beach Club, South Beach and the floating cabanas inspired by the South Pacific.
Other cruise lines:
In addition to the cruise lines above, there were others that are also introducing new ships. The Celebrity Apex is scheduled to sail in April 2020, and the Virgin Cruises will have the Scarlet Lady also sailing in 2020.
