Disney TreasureDisney has a new ship that will be setting sail in December 2024, the Disney Treasure. This ship is similar to the Disney Wish but has some very cool differences! We don’t know all of the details yet, but Disney has given us a few things to get us excited about this new ship.

The Treasure will have 1,256 rooms, just two more than the Wish. And most of those rooms offer an ocean view, with 70% offering a verandah. The staterooms on the Treasure are built with families in mind, including the split bathroom which has become a part of every Disney cruise ship. The staterooms on the Treasure are similar to the Wish, with Disney décor specific to the new themes of the Treasure.

If you want to have an amazing stateroom onboard the Treasure, then the Tomorrow Tower Suite is for you! This 2,000 sq ft room is actually inside the funnel and has a two-story window with the best view on the ship! This suite sleeps 8, so there’s plenty of room for the entire family!

When you board the Treasure, you will enter the Grand Hall, which will make you feel like you’ve just stepped into the movie Aladdin! The Grand Hall will be the spot to enjoy shows, character meet-and-greets and musical performances.

The Sarabi lounge will be the hub for family events during the day, Disney Treasure Periscope Pubincluding music, comedy acts, family game shows and more. At night this area will become an adult-only lounge to enjoy without the kids. Other adult escapes include the all-new Skipper Society, a lounge based on the favorite JungleCruise attraction in the Disney parks and the Periscope Pub, inspired by Walt Disney’s 1954 film, “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”. This lounge includes a real periscope so you can see what’s happening on the bridge of the ship!

The Treasure offers the rotational dining just like the other ships. This system allows you to rotate to a different dining room each night. This ship offers 3 main dining locations. The Plaza de Coco offers the flavors of Mexico and features characters and entertainment from the Coco film. The Worlds of Marvel restaurant offers the Avengers Quantum Encounter, which is like the experience found on the Wish, and an all-new dining experience that will be announced at a later time. Finally, the Treasure offers upscale dining in the 1923 restaurants with adventure themed artwork while enjoying a fabulous meal!

For a breakfast and lunch, the Treasure also offers the Marceline Market which gives guests many options for a more casual meal. And don’t forget to check out Jumbeaux’s Sweets for candy, ice cream and all sorts of sweets!

If you’d like to dine without the kids, the Treasure offers 3 adult dining experiences, inspired by Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”. Palo’s Steakhouse gives guests authentic Italian dining with the modern steakhouse in a setting inspired by Cogsworth. Enchanté offers the most luxurious dining experience onboard, features a gourmet menu and inspired by Lumiere. And The Rose is a chic lounge at the entrance of Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, inspired by the fateful flower at the heart of the story. This is the perfect spot for a pre- or after-dinner cocktail.

One of the most magical things on a Disney cruise is the nightly entertainment. The Treasure will offer “Beauty and the Beast”, “Disney Seas the Adventure” and a brand-new show that will be announced later. If you are a Broadway fan, then you must see the shows onboard a Disney cruise ship. They are truly magical!

Since the Treasure is a sister ship to the Wish, several returning favorites will also be on the Treasure. Of course, there will the Oceaneer’s Club for kids to enjoy arts and crafts, computer activities and even visits from their favorite characters! For the younger guests, Disney offers the Small World Nursery so that mom and dad can enjoy some time alone. The Edge, Vibe and the Hideaway offers tweens and teens space just for them to hang out and relax. Adults can enjoy their own space in the Quiet Cove or in Senses Spa, where the staff is there to make sure you have the ultimate relaxing treatments. And it wouldn’t be a Disney cruise without the amazing deck parties under the stars, including pirate night!

Disney Treasure AquamouseThe AquaMouse is coming to the Treasure with the addition of a new show featuring the zany adventures of Mickey and Minnie as they travel into an ancient temple. This fun-filled water ride takes you high above the upper decks through 760 feet of winding tubes, where you will have awesome views of the ocean and the ship below.

The maiden voyage of the Treasure will be an Eastern Caribbean cruise visiting Tortola and St. Thomas, beginning on December 21, 2024, but we can actually begin booking that sailing for you starting on September 12, 2023!
