Disney is celebrating 100 years of magic in 2023 and Disneyland is the place to be!

Have you been on the fence about booking a Disneyland trip? This year is a great year to finally take that family trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.

In 1923 Walt and Roy Disney founded the Walt Disney Company, then known as The Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio. This year, to commemorate 100 years of magic, Disneyland has an entire year packed full of spectacular celebrations.

Toontown is open after a year-long revamp.  A reimagined Toontown includes the CenTOONial Park which is complete with plenty of space to relax, unwind and let the little ones run around. It features new interactive experiences guaranteed to entertain guests of all ages, but especially our kiddos that may need a moment to run around and let out some energy. Interactive experiences are found at Goofy’s How-to-Play-Yard, Goofy’s house where you are sure to find his candy-making contraption entertaining, and Donald’s ship on the pond where water play is encouraged.  Of course, you will want to stop and see if Mickey and Minnie are home. One of the most anticipated additions to Disneyland is in Toontown and opened in late January 2023, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. This ride is an exciting adventure with Mickey and his original pals.  Believe it or not, this is the first ride in Disneyland to feature Mickey himself.

Entertainment has been pumped up to match the magic of this yearlong celebration. The new firework spectacular “Wondrous Journeys” features 16 favorite Disney classics, state-of-the-art lighting, and effects that make this a magical show.  Also, the long-awaited parade “Magic Happens” is finally making its way down Main Street U.S.A. Mickey and his friends dressed in their celebration best and are sure to put on a memorable show! The parade features both classic and modern characters, with songs everyone in the family is sure to love.

Sleeping Beauty’s Castle will be decked out in true Disney fashion, making it the perfect photo backdrop for your family, and I must mention that Disney is offering the PhotoPass FREE to all guests visiting Disneyland in 2023.

A family trip to Disneyland this year is sure to make some Magical Memories that will be talked about for years to come!
