There are a few reasons to get excited for the new 2024 packages.
- The dining plan is back for travel after January 9, 2024! I know that many of you have been waiting for the dining plan to come back, and your wait is almost over! We can add the quick service or the Disney dining plan on your 2024 package if your travel begins on or after January 9. These dining plans are a great value for families and allow you to have a more all-inclusive package.
- Theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets! Date-based tickets are the standard tickets that are offered for your Walt Disney World package. There are some instances where you might have a non-dated ticket, and those tickets may still require park reservations. But for most of us, we don’t have to make park reservations!
- Disney is still offering extended park time for Disney resort guests! The early entry for all resort guests will continue for 2024 visits. And guests staying at deluxe and deluxe villa resorts will also still have extended evening hours on select nights.
- The Genie+ process will be simplified. While we don’t have any details on this yet, Disney has said that they understand that people want to plan their Genie+ before the day of travel, and they are working on it. We will definitely let you know when we know more details on this!
- Disney is also introducing “good-to-go” days for annual passholders. These will be specific days that annual passholders may visit the parks without making a park reservation. Again, we don’t have many details on this, but we will keep you posted!
