Hello, my name is Victoria Thompson and my family and I live in Circleville, Ohio, home of the Circleville Pumpkin Show.  I am married to my husband John and we have one adult son, a teenage daughter that lives at home and our dogs, Brutus (Go Buckeyes) & Luke.  Growing up we only went on one vacation as a family and that was to Nashville, TN. The only reason we went there was for work training for my Dad who was in the Military.  We went to Opryland (which was an amusement park in Nashville that is no longer there), the Grand Ole Opry and we also took a trip to Memphis to visit Graceland as my parents are huge Elvis fans.  I remember it being a fun trip, but I always heard about my friends going to the beach every year or to Disney World and that is what I wanted more than anything.  I vowed that once I was an adult I would travel as much as I could and I have kept this promise to myself ever since.  I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel as much as I do as an adult.  It’s very important to me as well that my daughter gets to experience the traveling that I didn’t get to as a child.

My favorite place to go is hands down Disney World.  My sister and I go every chance we get, but my favorite trip to Disney World was taking my mom and my daughter when she was 5 years old.  I had never been either, so it was my first time as well and boy did we do Disney.  We went in November and got to experience Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party where it “snows” on Main Street and my daughter thought it was the coolest thing ever.  While we experience snow in Ohio, it’s just so magical when you’re walking down Main Street and it’s “snowing” at a place that it does not typically get snow. This first trip we visited all 4 parks, experienced all of the Character Dining we could get reservations for and even spent 2 days at Magic Kingdom.  It was an AMAZING trip that I will never forget, and I know my daughter will never forget.  It made everything right in the world knowing that I was able to take my daughter to Disney World on a trip that she will remember for a lifetime.  I also love All-Inclusive Resorts. My husband and I went to Riviera Maya, Mexico on our honeymoon and while it was my first trip ever to an All-Inclusive Resort, it was by far my favorite.  We also traveled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic as a family as well as Cozumel, Mexico with 3 other couples.  Most recently I traveled to Jamaica, visiting several Sandals/Beaches Resorts there and had the opportunity to stay at 2 of them.  I have to say Jamaica is one of my favorite places to travel now and I can’t wait to go back!
