Disney has just released new itineraries for the Disney Cruise Line for the summer of 2020. There are some amazing destinations included in these itineraries, including a long-awaited return to Greece! Disney is also adding five first-time ports of call in Europe, in addition to the sailings to Alaska, the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
The Disney Magic will return to Greece in the summer of 2020 after a five-year hiatus. These 9 or 12-night sailings include visits to Piraeus, the gateway to Athens to enjoy beautiful scenery and archeological wonders, Katakolon, near ancient Olympia, and the islands of Santorini, Mykonos and Crete. Two of these sailings will also include a visit to Messina, Italy, where you can visit landmarks in Sicily. The third sailing will visit Dubrovnik, Croatia for the first time in five years. These cruises will have something that everyone in your family will love!
In late summer 2020, the Magic will head to northern Europe for sailings to the Baltic, British Isles and Norwegian fjords. These cruises will include new ports of call, including Gdynia, Poland, Nordfjordeid, Norway, Plymouth, England and Zeebrugge, Belgium. These new destinations are part of the Disney Magic’s grand tour of Europe! You can settle into the luxury of the Disney Cruise Line and enjoy Europe in a whole new way!
The Disney Wonder will return to Alaska for the summer to show you the amazing sites of this wonderland. Enjoy beautiful glaciers and fascinating wildlife aboard the Wonder. These seven-night itineraries depart from Vancouver, Canada, and include visits to Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point and Dawes Glacier. The Wonder is the perfect way to show your family the awe-inspiring experience that is Alaska!
The Disney Dream and the Fantasy will remain sailing out of Port Canaveral for the summer of 2020. The Dream will continue with their visits to Castaway Cay (my favorite part of a Disney cruise!) with three, four, and five-night cruises to the Bahamas. The Fantasy will continue with their seven-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean but will also add a variety of itineraries to the Caribbean and Bahamas. These itineraries include five and nine-night Caribbean cruises, along with three, four and five-night cruises to the Bahamas as well.
So now that we’ve got you excited to embark on one of these adventures aboard a Disney cruise ship, you’re probably wondering when you can book. These summer 2020 itineraries will open to the general public on March 7, 2109. Disney’s Castaway Club members will get advance booking opportunities according to the following schedule:
